About Us

Bike Gear for Girls aims to provide a holistic site where women bikers can shop, chat and gain useful hints, tips and suggestions that will enhance their biking life.

Our aim is to bring you clothing that is designed for women, so that in addition to protection you also get the cut and style that you want. By combining traditional motorcycle clothing with a range of casual wear and accessories, we can provide you with a one stop shop for all your biking needs.

Both of us have experienced what it is like to have to shop for men's products because the women's range is so limited, as a result we were inspired to start Bike Gear for Girls. We hope that this site will develop, not only as a place for you to buy fashion inspired motorcycle gear but also for you to share your experiences and meet others who share the same passion as you do.

In the biker café you can share your riding experiences, ask questions, arrange ride outs and much more. Our features page aims to bring you hints, tips and quality products that we think will enhance your biking experience. If you want to see something particular, let us know. Our news page gives us the opportunity to keep you up to date with what we are doing and also for you to share your stories with others. To encourage your contribution we will send a free Bike Gear for Girls t-shirt for the featured article every month. (We reserve editorial rights).

In order to achieve our aim of quality and style we are keen for you to give us feedback on our products and our site. If there is something you want to see, or something that you are finding hard to source yourselyourself, let us know at and we will do our best to find it for you.

I have been on and around bikes for as long as I can remember.

My husband has always been a keen biker and I have travelled thousands of miles on the back of his bike around England and Europe. There came a point where we were able to afford a second bike, this is when I took the plunge and passed my test via a direct access course.

My first bike was a Harley Davidson Sportster which I loved, but I have since moved on to a Street Bob which I love even more.

Clothing is an issue for me as I have long legs and hips. My challenge is to find clothes that fit me and all other women out there that are not a standard size.

My brother and sister have had sports bikes but I never thought I could ride one as I am only average height and sports bikes tend to be too high for me.

When my sister changed to a cruiser the possibility of me riding became a reality as the bike was much lower. I kept on so much that my husband surprised me with my own bike which meant I had to learn to ride. He decided to take up riding again and took his test so we now both ride together.

Whilst I love the old school Harley Davidsons I also hanker after a sports bike. I have found a compromise with the Harley Davidson Night Rod, of which I am a proud owner.

My challenge is to find 'girly' clothes that also provide protection. I love to dress up and want to see all women riders looking and feeling their best.
