Happy Biking in 2008 – we look forward to meeting friends old and new.
I am sure like us, you are finding the winter months long and dreary and longing for the spring and those long summer rides.
We have a couple of road trips planned in Europe and have purposely left a gap between May and the end of July to enjoy getting out on the bikes. I think we’d be lucky if we got a 1000 miles in last summer, with the weather and the show season, so we want to put that right this year.
Last year was our first year of trading, so a lot was learnt about what women want and where we can find it. Building on that experience we are trying to source larger sizes for the curvier ladies amongst us, we are also focusing on the leather products and accessories and less on casual wear. 2007 and was a tough year to start a retail outlet within the biking industry. Both the downturn in the economy and the weather seemed to put many bikers of from venturing out and splashing out on that gorgeous new leather jacket. However we are back again and hope that 2008 will be better for us all. Please make sure you pass on the details of our site to your lady biker friends, we would love to hear from them.

New Stock – we have already stocked two new jackets for 2008 from Difi, a range we hope to increase over the year. In addition we have added new products from Held. Keep an eye out on the web-site or contact us for more information.
Forum – we apologise for the temporary closure of the forum. This is due to the number of unscrupulous people who just want to use it for advertising. We are currently exploring alternative options to providing online links to other women bikers.
Features – we hope to team up with a local mechanic to provide regular maintenance features on the site.
Clubs - we are keen to promote clubs that have a healthy ladies membership, be it pillion or riders. Please contact us with your club details which we will promote on the site.
Send us your news stories or feature articles for inclusion on the web site; we are always interested in new material, particularly if it promotes women on bikes.
